Topic : Dandelions

When I was younger, one of my favoritest things to do was to blow all the dandelion fluff-stuff off of the dandelions in our yard.

I'd make the same wish over and over and just keep trying to blow all the fluff away.

I've since shown every one of my nieces and nephews how to wish on dandelions and make the "fluffies fly". Its an integral part of growing up... this whole making wishes business.

I still makes wishes on dandelions, and eyelashes, and backward necklace clasps. And I'm always waiting for the clock to read out 11:11. I'm a sucker for wish making, I guess.

Anyhow.

Dandelions. That's our post for tonight.

Topic : Koalas

So, I was at work tonight. I work the front desk at our local library. A little girl comes up to me and asks me what my favorite animal is...

I had no idea what answer to give her.

So, that's what I said... I said, "Honey, I have no idea... they're all kinda neat... which is your favorite?"

She answered, "Well, koalas, duh."

Like it was the simplest answer in the world and everyone should have known it was her favorite.

Or maybe she thought that the 5 books in her arms all with koalas prominently featured in their titles and pictures should have clued me in... but whatever.

Anyhow.

Koalas.

I'd forgotten all about them.

Here, A koala post:

Random Seller - ThePoppyTree

So, I have decided it's time for another random etsy seller.

I stumbled upon this little shop just recently. Actually, I stumbled upon it after I began this little blog and nearly every time I'm searching for cuteness to include in a list, this shop pops up with wonderfulness for me to peruse. I am slowly but surely falling in love, I tell you.

The random etsy seller for today is: ThePoppyTree!

Here are a few of the things from this shop that I am lusting after:

Topic : Squirrels.

I ran over a squirrel once.
He was a tad suicidal, I do believe.
He decided to throw himself into the middle of the road when I going, like, 35 mph and had not a chance in the world of stopping.

I cried for nearly a whole day straight.

For reals.

Squirrels are awesome.

My gramma sits at her kitchen table and watches the squirrels in her backyard try to steal the bird seed out of the birdfeeder. My gramma, she has this real cool "anti-squirrel" birdfeeder that makes watching the squirrel's antics quite enjoyable. Those darned squirrels are quite the little connivers. <-- is that even a word? Connivers? Whatevers.

Anyhoozles.

Squirrels.

Mmm-kay.

On with it.--
