A friend of mine and I have been out traipsing around to the local thrift stores and nearby estate sales just to check out what's out there, ya know? ((and right now, in Sheboygan, we're not finding much.)) BUT, my friend did come across this really neat necklace with an awesome owl pendant... So cute.

I was horribly jealous.

Random Seller - Marmar

So, I have decided it's time for another random etsy seller.

I have been admiring the cute little charms this wonderful shop sells ever since I stumbled upon the wonderfulness that is etsy. I finally broke down and ordered 2 of the necklaces just a little while ago... as in, really, mere minutes ago. I am in love with the simple cuteness this shop offers.

Topic : Squirrels.

I ran over a squirrel once.
He was a tad suicidal, I do believe.
He decided to throw himself into the middle of the road when I going, like, 35 mph and had not a chance in the world of stopping.

I cried for nearly a whole day straight.

For reals.

Squirrels are awesome.

My gramma sits at her kitchen table and watches the squirrels in her backyard try to steal the bird seed out of the birdfeeder. My gramma, she has this real cool "anti-squirrel" birdfeeder that makes watching the squirrel's antics quite enjoyable. Those darned squirrels are quite the little connivers. <-- is that even a word? Connivers? Whatevers.

Topic : Monkeys

Quit monkeying around...

Or don't.

I like monkeys.

I'm surprised I didn't do a "monkey post" earlier when I was doing all the random "me and my friends have this thing.." posts. My friend April has a thing for monkeys. I think it may stem from the fact that some of us call her Ape, or Apie, and that in itself makes ya think "monkey". ((I'm a bit quotation mark happy today, aren't I?) Anyhow. Monkeys.

So. Yeah. It's not all that easy to find a bunch of cute monkeys... most monkeys are a bit clownish or exaggerated and I don't find them so very cute. I tried real hard, though, and came up with these 9. (Oh, and, um, btw, Sock Monkeys are evil and scary and have no place in my compendium. I'm sorry. They scare the bejeezus out of me... maybe I'll do a "what creeps me out" post and they'll show up there... yeah, okay, moving along.)
