{Color Post} Red

Red is not my favorite color. I can't wear red... my complexion is too blotchy. I drive a red car and seem to get stopped more often whilst driving it.

BUT

Topic : Dandelions

When I was younger, one of my favoritest things to do was to blow all the dandelion fluff-stuff off of the dandelions in our yard.

I'd make the same wish over and over and just keep trying to blow all the fluff away.

I've since shown every one of my nieces and nephews how to wish on dandelions and make the "fluffies fly". Its an integral part of growing up... this whole making wishes business.

I still makes wishes on dandelions, and eyelashes, and backward necklace clasps. And I'm always waiting for the clock to read out 11:11. I'm a sucker for wish making, I guess.

Anyhow.

Topic : Squirrels.

I ran over a squirrel once.
He was a tad suicidal, I do believe.
He decided to throw himself into the middle of the road when I going, like, 35 mph and had not a chance in the world of stopping.

I cried for nearly a whole day straight.

For reals.

Squirrels are awesome.

My gramma sits at her kitchen table and watches the squirrels in her backyard try to steal the bird seed out of the birdfeeder. My gramma, she has this real cool "anti-squirrel" birdfeeder that makes watching the squirrel's antics quite enjoyable. Those darned squirrels are quite the little connivers. <-- is that even a word? Connivers? Whatevers.

Anyhoozles.
